Thorn: I’ll visit some other time, okay? Alone, so there’s nobody to agitate the foal.

Caoimhe: (Whuff)

Thorn: I’m sorry! The baby is still too young to see strangers.

(Blatant lie)

Thorn: It is all my fault! Let us go somewhere else! We talked about fish — do you still like fish?

Hey, remember this place?

Thorn: And, see, it’s good that we are here now! It would be bad if we were more late into this line.

….Is panel three Leif being shocked? He looks panicked and he DOES have that no touch compulsion…

Nah, he’s just startled to be hustled off so fast. The “no touch” compulsion only applies to the kids at the Embassy — and it doesn’t work in reverse, so a mischievous kid can’t torment him by exploiting it.

If he was being zapped, there would be a “ZAP” sound effect and some flashy lights.

Ah. I just remembered the “I got Eight Problems” storyline and thought it had to do with that. But I forgot that when Leif was injured the second time, it was because Thorn used Ceannic healing gem and it caused problems with Sonska magic.
