Definitely imagining Dex’s compassionate and reasonable husband giving them the neutral face of displeasure here.
See, the place my mind immediately went was “So, you wall-slammed someone who wasn’t me?” But I’ve been reading lots of shippy stuff recently, so that maybe is to be expected.
…wait wait wait, you think Dex was trying convince Kahu?
I’m trying to think how I could change the strip to make “Dex’s goal is to intimidate Kahu” any clearer, and I’m drawing a blank, here.
(Also, “overkill, by definition, works” sounds pretty sketchy.)
