And you’re not wrong — I do find you more trustworthy when Leif’s safety is at stake. But I didn’t bring him up as a threat, or a test.
I brought him up in the spirit of full disclosure, because he is the servant who clears the paths for us.

Yeah, Sigrún never struck me as the sneaky type. She’s captain for a reason.
I mean, she kinda is. Recall that she’s used Leif to understand Thorn before.

Also, I would suspect being sneaky is part of job description.
She’s usually only sneaky to her opponents, not her teammates. She’s very straightforward to the people she considers “on her team”. At the chapter of Sword Dancers, Thorn was an opponent, and treated as such. In this, they are working toward the same goal.
… no, I don’t think she’s sure they are working toward the same goal.
