Leif: How have you been? I haven’t talked to you in person since Thorn’s party.
Kale: Yeah . . . Just on the net. And your Embassy net connections are all monitored, right?
Leif: Yeah, of course.
But there’s nothing you can say in person that you couldn’t just message me on Facetbook!
Kale: Uh . . .
Leif: Kale. You can say nothing in person that you couldn’t just message me on Facetbook.

Haha… yeah… I guess Kale’s a little new to the whole ‘safety and security around Leif’ stuff, huh.
Kale’s never been very good at subtlety, it’s part of his awkward charm.
YUP. It’s still not safe to be open – very nicely worded, Leif
Is it just habit for Leif to rely on insinuation first when it comes to security, or is there some reason that he can’t just directly say that conversations on embassy grounds are also closely monitored?
Absolutely. Conversations on embassy grounds are also closely monitored. This is *why* Leif is in the habit of relying on insinuation first.
Not only they are monitored, also he may be compelled to report SOME stuff himself.
Yeah, I wouldn’t be surprised if that compulsion included things like “report any plans you hear of any servants being ‘stolen'”.
Damn, no blushies at the finger to lips contact. ;w; I know it’s a serious conversation and Kale is probably concerned but my ship….. Surely my idle fantasies are more important than the gravity of the situation!! Lmao
