Ragnild & Iona: AAAAAHHHHH

Plumber: Attention! Viewers, if I could have your attention, please. Quiet down now.

I want you all to look toward the exit at the left of the stage. Then the one at the right. Then the exits in back.

Ragnild & Iona: aaahhhhh

Plumber: Please get up and move slowly and calmly toward the exit closest to you. Unless you’re in the balcony level over there. You folks should probably stay put.

Anyone with an inkling of sense: “Okay, what wenr sideways?”

I’m willing to bet Balcony Access is on the western hall… and it wouldn’t be out of place to guess that the vines started growing out from the W.C. nearest The Sønska Box…

my guess? The Vines are in the hall now, and they’d need to hack their way out/in.

It’s more specific than that. There are multiple balconies, with separate stairs. Probably just the Sønska box uses the particular stairway that’s blocked. If there are other boxes that use that stairway, they’re all groups that Sønheim particularly trusts.

Anyone here have a machete heartsword? Your services would be very much appreciated.

Actually, the properties of a machete that make it particularly useful against vegetation are its weight plus things that aren’t relevant once you introduce the properties of heartswords. So anyone with a big heartsword, like maybe a broadsword, would be able to handle this as well as someone with a machete. Too bad both of the people who got selected for this… oh wait, they’re broadswords, they’re fine. They get a chance to shine.

So basically, good thing that Birch and Quince weren’t the team. (I think everyone else have heavy enough swords.) Though, that said, the simple fact that heartswords can’t break and can’t bind to the vine would probably be sufficient to counter the lack of weight they’d have.
