Del (thinking): . . . Where have I seen him before?
Sven: Hello? Anybody here?
Sven (thinking): Maybe I should’ve specified that I want Sønska “on time”, not Ceanska “on time”.

Aw sounds like he didn’t make much of an impression on her.
Also seems like she didn’t make as much of an impression on him as was first suggested. He walked past the ‘woman’ (not sure on D’s gender) he said he would search the kingdom for, but didn’t bat an eyelid. Either that or he was too preoccupied with whatever he was (supposedly) supposed to be receiving to notice anything else.
Pretty sure D hasn’t been referred to as anything but a woman since her first appearance.
You would be correct!
Ah yes, “Culture-specific” time. Worse than any jetlag, time zone, or any other chronological difference.
Not to mention the oft-invoked in my area ‘Camp Time’ in which if your watch says you’re right on time, you’re ten minutes late.
No, Scout, we don’t give a flying, feathery fig-bearing ficus your watch syncs with an atomic clock.
And that’s not even taking into account the difference between “you said 1 and it’s 1:45 so I’m on time” and “you said 1 so I showed up at 12:45”.
